G. Mayo, Assistant Scoutmaster Scoutmas-ter Frank Farmer and Camp Cook Kb Tanner. They were in two j groups under Patrol Leaders Carl-I Carl-I son and Mclntire and Senior Pa-j Pa-j trol Leader Glenn. A popularity contest was being I conducted in behalf of the playground play-ground movement and ten names J hail been entered. Barbara Foth-; Foth-; eringham was leadinfr with 3057 votes, Louise Poulton had 1542, Alta Edwards 922 and Juanit Miller 341. Others were on an equal basis with 8G votes each. Master Harold Cline was eut of school and was to spend the summer sum-mer in Milford. There had been born the following follow-ing babies: To Mr. and Mrs Clyde Marshall of Minersville, June 11, a boy; to Mr. and Mrs. Vene Evans of Minersville, June 8, a boy; to Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths Grif-fiths on June 1, a boy. Howard Gospill had returned from the Utah State Agriculture ! college and Lehi Pitchforth was I home from the university of Utah- ; Mi.-s Alta Edwards was home j from attending Westminister eol-'lege eol-'lege in Salt Lake- i I i Miss Alice Wynaught was home 1 from California where she had at-J at-J tended school. I ! Mrs. Charles Beard had gone to j Paragonah to attend the wedding of her brother, Amasa Stones. Mrs. Rachel Jefferson anil Mrs. II. M. Korns had entertained at a I miscellaneous shower for Mrs. Nora Roper. A little maple recipe drawer was given the honored guest after the guests had each written a favorite recipe on one of the cards. The invited guests Mesdames Fred Jefferson, Joe Tribole, Mitchell Coon, Roper, Daniels, Glenn, Gleeson, Williams, Berkheimer, Roy Cottrell, Charles Miller, Myron Lewis, Armstrong, Copeland, Wm. Dobson, Siewert, and Misses Mary Roper, Bessie Cook, Delia Cottrell, Hortense Hardy, May Johnson and Ella Johnson. |
