Show Mr. and Mrs. Ross Palmer left last Sunday for a visit of several days in Salt Lake City. James L. Mooney of Las Vegas, Nevada was a week-end visitor at the Vance Fisher home. Mrs. E. L. Smith and daughters are visiting at Franklin, Idaho, having, gone there for Decoration day. Mrs. Edna G. Bird of Caliente, a former resident of Milford, is visiting at the homes of her daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Robert Tomsik and Mrs. Vance Fisher. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Moore returned re-turned today from a vacation trip to Oakland and the San Francisco bay area, where they visited relatives rela-tives and friends. Mrs. George Jefferson left last week for San Francisco, California. While there she will visit her son Richard, who is attending the Menlo school for boys near Oakland, Oak-land, California. Mr. and Mrs. Vance Fisher and family and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Tomsik and family spent Saturday and Sunday in Cedar City at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hardjj, "where a fafrnily reunion was enjoyed. Mrs. Jack Fotheringham and Miss Gencal Larsen of Castle Dale spent the week-end in Milford, visiting at the home of Mrs. Ireta Albrecht. While here they attended M. H. iS. graduation exercises, a brother-in-law, Bruce Fotheringham, Fothering-ham, being one of the graduates. An enjoyable visit was made with many friends and relatives. J. Cass Root, former postmaster and Union Pacific conductor, is visiting at the heme of his parents j and with other relatives and l friends, after spending the winter jat Tucson, Arizona. Mrs. Alda Johnson returned Monday to her home in Silver City after spending nearly a week at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Sltanley H. Vernon, who underwent under-went a tonsillectomy while her mother mo-ther was here. Mrs. Johnson was flown here by Pilot Vernon. Mrs. Kail Hanney and daughters, daugh-ters, Beverly and Sally, arrived in Milford Thursday of last week for a visit of a few days with local friends. Miss Beverly, a former member of this year's M. If. S. graduating class, was especially interested in attending the local commencement exercises. exer-cises. The Hanneys are now residents resi-dents of Midway, near Heber, where she graduated from Wasatch Wa-satch county high school. Mrs. Mattie Ferguson, well-known well-known former Milford resident, has been spending .4fcveral days visiting with friends, having come primarily for Memorial day. Mrs. Ferguson, who is making her home in Los Angeles and has been a continuous subscriber to The News, states that her son Warren, with his wife and little son, is making his home at Yermo, California, out of which place he is operating as a Union Pacific engineer. The members of Sego Lily Division Di-vision No. 500, G. I. A. to B. of L. E. were . entertained Saturday, May 2C by Mrs. G. C. Cuddy, Mrs. V. K. Shingleton and Mrs. J. D. Johnston at the Cuddy;; tome. Bridge was played, with Mrs. O. R. Smith winning the prize for high points and Mrs. W. G. White for high honors, while Mrs. 0. A.
