Show FUNERAL HELD FOR ! POPULARYOUNG GIRL' Funeral services were held Sunday j at 2 o'clock in the Milford L. D. S. j ward chapel for Miss Kathryn Grit'-' fiths, popular young girl, who died j tlie morning of Wednesday, May 31 of complications following an operation for a bad case of appendicitis, per-: formed a week before. ! Speakers at : the services were Bishop E. H. Bird and former Bishop William A. Miller, now of Beaver. The opening prayer was offered by P. L. Fillmore and the benediction by Loriri Robinson, while J. B. Dun-' can dedicated the grave. Musical , numbers included vocal solos by J., M.'. Hughes and Mrs. R. E. EUings-worth EUings-worth and string music by Dr. C. R. Parrish and a group of girls. The floral offerings were beautiful and proiuse. - Katheryn Lucy Griffiths was born in Milford July 7, 1918, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Griffiths . and had made her home here all her life. She finished, this spring, her first year of high school and was active in music and athletic activities activi-ties of the school, having served as captain of the girls' basketball team. She was also active in 4-H Club work and L. D. S. church work. Surviving her are her parents, a sister Alice and the following brothers: bro-thers: Clyde, Monto and Abe. |
