Show Henry White has gone to Las Vegas Ve-gas for a brief visit with friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Smith of Salt I.ake were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Smith. Mrs. G. T. Moore and daughters, Gene ami Arline, .of Murray, spent last weekend as guests of Mrs. An-tone An-tone Johnson. Patrons young and old of the Milford Lions elub-munieipai swimming swim-ming pool are thoroughly enjoying the use the use of some beach balls, sent from California by T. A. Jo-hansen, Jo-hansen, wellknown former Milford resident Mrs. John Ryan and son, H. P. Ryan, are in from Burbank, visiting with Mrs. Ryan's daughter, Mrs. T. 0. La Marr, who is convalescing at the home of Mrs. J. S. Rickerson, after an operation which she underwent under-went several weeks ago. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore entertained enter-tained at dinner Saturday night in honor of their house guests, Mr. and Mrs. B. J. David of Provo. The guests were Mr. and Mrs. Val Yepson, Mrs. T. 0 .La Marr, J. C. Root, Cal Skinner, Skin-ner, Mr. ! nd Mrs. J. S. Rickers-m. an! Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Jennings of Hollywood. Following the dinner, tables were arranged for bridge. Harvesting of pod peas, planted and grown on the South Milford flat under the supervision of representatives representa-tives of the San Diego Fruit and Produce company, is getting well underway, un-derway, marking the inauguration of a new industry for this section and one that will probably mean a great deal to Milford and Beaver county.
