Show SOCIETY" : Venison Dinner ; Mr. anl Mrs. Wm. Morley enter- tainoti a f friends at a venison din-I din-I ner last Monday. Those present in ad-j ad-j dition to the host and hostess were j their daughter, Mrs. F.rieksoa, and I small daughter, Florine, C. A. Bailey, Lee C. Brown and Lester Farnon. Mr. Morley's skill in bringing down good deer and Mrs. Morley's cooking were equally praised. Progressive Supper The lack's of the "500' club entertained enter-tained their husbands at a progressive progres-sive supper Monday evening, Oct. 29 : Twenty guests were in attendance. Mrs. Bill Ta'b. t, assisted by Mrs. Merrill Edwards, served the first and second courses at the Talbot home; ,Trs. Ashworth and Mrs. Steve Harris Har-ris were hostesses at third course which was served at the Harris home. Mrs. Walter Griffith and Mrs. Warren War-ren Atkin presided over the fourth course at the Atkin home. The party .hen assembled at the Earl Dewey home, where Mrs. Leocard Muir, Mrs-Myles Mrs-Myles White and Mrs. Dewey were hostesses for the remainder of the evening. An interesting game of Five Hundred was played. The prizes won were as follows: Mrs. Sieve Harris, ladies high score; Steve Harris, gent's high prize; Mrs. Myies White, ladies consolation; Earl Dewey, gent's consolation. Hallowe'en iecorations were artistically used in the table arrangements and each per-on per-on present wore a paper cap. Mr. ind Mrs. Harry Garfield were invited ;ucsts of the club. liiowe'en Costume Party Alfrcda Marquis entertained -jive friends at a jolly Hallowe'en arty on Tuesday, October 39- The hiti" her hirthday anniver- I sary. A most delightful time was ' spent by all who enjoyed the hospitality hospi-tality of little Miss Marquis. Mrs. Karl Levi Hostess Mrs. Karl Levi was hostess to the members of the Old Friend's club Wednesday afternoon, October 24th. Five Hundred was the feature; the high club pri:e was won by Mrs. M. E. PooL Hallowe'en ideas were carried carri-ed out in the table decorations. A very dainty luncheon was served at the conclusion of the card game to Mesdames W. O. Carlson, Antone Johnson, B. Hutchins, A. C. Neb-eker, Neb-eker, M. H. Pool, Roy White, Will Fernley and Scott Tanner. Mrs. Levi was assisted by Mrs. F. A. Stewart. "500" Club The "500" club was charmingly entertained en-tertained by Mrs. Walter Griffiths last Friday evening. Mrs. Merrill Edwards Ed-wards held the high score, and Mrs. Warren Atkin, the low. Delicious refreshments re-freshments were served to Mrs. Steve Harris, Mrs. Bill Ashworth, Mrs. Earl I Dewey, Mrs. Leonard Muir, Mrs. Bill Talbot, Mrs. Myles White and Mrs, Wnrren Atkin. Waffle Supper Mhs Juanita Miller was hostess Monday evening at her home to a yroup of friends, the occasion being a radio party. Those present were the Misses Leo Smithson, Lot ha Sohow, ' Mary Roper, the hostess, Messrs. j Burns, Freeman, Geiger and Brown. f I Late in the evening a delieiom waffle supper was served. Mrs. Rochck entertained Mrs. Melvin Stanley entrotained Wednesday afternoon with a charming charm-ing bridge tea in honor of Mrs. J. V-Rochek, V-Rochek, of Salt Luke City. The house was very effectively decorated with fresh cut fall flowers in shades of Maise and Orchid. First prize was won by Mrs. Kimmel Coon; colsola-tion, colsola-tion, Mrs. Dan Hutching. Mrs.. Rochek was awarded the dainty guest prize. At the close of the afternoon a delicious two-course luncheon was served to Mrs. Rochek, j guest of honor, Mrs. Kimmel Coon, j Mrs. Melvin.
