Miss Vivian Rollins spent Thursday Thurs-day evening at Milford. . Mrs. Therma Austin and daughter, of Pioche, Nevada, are here visiting Mrs. May Craw. iThe Republican Women's club held a business meeting Monday. The following fol-lowing officers" were present. President, Presi-dent, Mrs. F. D. Williams; first vice-president, vice-president, Mrs- H. C. Eyre; second vice-president, Mrs. Amy Stoddard; secretary, Mrs. Vernetta McKnight and treasurer, Mrs. D.' R. McKnight. A Democratic rally was held here Tuesday afternoon. Governor Dern, O. K. Clay, Abe Murdock and Mr. Giles were the speakers. A glee club from Beaver furnished the singing-John singing-John Eyre and Earl Thompson attended at-tended a Democratic rally at Greenville, Green-ville, Monday evening. - The Misses Vivie Marshall and Sy-Iva Sy-Iva -Rollins entertained the Junior Girls at a Hallowe'en party at Miss Marshall's home Wednesday evening. The time was spent in playing games, after which a dainty luncheon was served to twelve guests.
