Show ATTEACiVVk; QUARTERS ESSENTIAL TO GOOD BUSINESS Many Milford people were pleased when Chanslor and Kinney moved the Corner Confectionery to the Flat-Iron j building. The vacant, bui'ding at such a conspicuous spot was an eye -sore to all who had the appearance of our Main street at heart. True, a building was abandoned witen the move was made, but it should give an opportunity now to its owners to tear it down and erect something more in accord ac-cord with the present progressive spirit of Milford. The ; corner building looks like a relic of a by-gone day. We ' cannot speak as a sage in matters of real estate valuations, but is generally known that the P. 0. corner is about the I best business location in town, and now a neat brick or ' stone edifice, built whi'e the owners have a chance, would more than repay the investment. Mcanv. hi'e, Kinney .v.d Chanslor are to be congratulated congratulat-ed in their forward h.irg attitude in abandoning the old building and we hope they will be repaid by as much, or more of business suecov at the new location. |
