Show SHEEPMEN BEGIN- MOVING FLOCKS The sheep industry is now coming into its usual fall and winter prominence promin-ence locally. Five thousand lambs were driven into Milford this week and were bought up by Ralph Pitch-forth. Pitch-forth. They were moved in by about five sheep men from the vicinity of Beaver. Sheep from the counties north have not started moving in yet for winter ranging. According to sheepmen and wool buyers, several of whom have made Milford their headquarters head-quarters this week, the ranges hereabouts here-abouts are not as good as common because be-cause of the dry summer. The condition con-dition is worse however, up north, so it is expected that flocks will be driven in as usual from Sevier, San Pete and Juab counties. There has been quite a movement of sheep between be-tween here and Minersville for the past seven or eight days. Shearing, which is done late in April and early in May, is practically practical-ly all done in this county at the big corrals located near Minersville, Laho and Newhouse. |
