Show LEGION POSTS HOLD ANNUAL ELECTIONS The Milford Post, American Legion, Le-gion, met Tuesday evening at the library building and voted to retain the present officers for the next year. This move was made as it was felt that the present officers should be given at least a full term in which to get well started upon the plans which the legion has made. One vacancy existed, ex-isted, that formerly filled by Alvin Baker on the executive council. This was filled by the election of Stanley McKnight. The proferred resignation resigna-tion of M. P. Lewis, Adjutant, was refused. Beaver Legion men elected their officers of-ficers a week ago for the coming year. Their selection was as follows: Post Commander, Ernest Joseph; 1st Vice Commander, Rodney -White; 2nd Vice Commander, Albert Green; Historian, His-torian, Cliff McShane; Chaplain, J. Wilfojl Robinson; Finance Officer, Mark Woolsey. Dr. E. A. Petty, retiring commander, command-er, was given a vote of thanks by the post. |
