Show SCHOOL NURSE IS DUE IN BEAVER COUNTY NOV. 15 IS SENT BY RED CROSS ON AUTHORITY OF SCHOOL BOARD Miss Purcelle Peck, Itinerant Hygiene Hy-giene Instructor and Public Health Nurse, has been assigned by the Pacific Pa-cific Coast headquarters of the American Am-erican Red Cross, for service in Beaver Beav-er county for the winter. Some weeks ago, the county board of education, made provisions in its budget for the services of a school nurse for the county high schools. Miss Peck's work will actively start about November 15. The program of work covers four months. Preliminary organizations organiza-tions will be affected prior to her arrival. The courses in which Miss Peck specializes should be interesting and profitable to high school girls and to mothers of this county. Annual Roll Call From Miss Margaret Bullen, field representative for the Red Cross, comes word that she will arrive here about trie same time as Miss Peck. Miss Bullen will lend her assistance 'n the annual Red Cross Roll Call. For this year, Lee Brown is chairman of the annual roll call and the announcement an-nouncement of plans for conducting 'amc, together with names of his committee, com-mittee, will be announced soon. The Roll Call takes, place from Armistice Oay until Thanksgiving. |
