LOCALS and PERSONALS Manager Del Gardo, of the Union Pacific dining room and lunch counter is preparing for increased business which he expects when the new tourist rates go in effect, which is May 22. Mrs. John McGarry, of the Milford Hotel, left for Salt Lake City last Sunday. She will make a week's stay there, returning about Sunday or Monday. A. E. Smith, agent for the Willys-Knight Willys-Knight and Whippet automobiles, returned re-turned from Kanosh, fillmore and Lynndyl, where he had spent several days attending to business, which he says was very good.
