Show ADAMSYILLE NEWS A birthday party was given Friday Fri-day afternoon, at the home of Mrs. Hazel Eyre, in honor of her son, James, age six years. Eight little guests were present. Joseph Johnson and family, of Salt Lake, have been on his ranch at Aierdare for a few days. They also visited friends and relatives at Adamsville. A farewell party was given in honor of Miss Lenna Stewart at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Stewart Friday evening. A jolly crowd of young folks from Milford and Min-ersville Min-ersville enjoyed themselves at the party. Ice cream and other refreshments refresh-ments were served during the evening. even-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Smith and little lit-tle son, of Salt Lake, are here visiting visit-ing their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Reece. Tie sewing club met at Mrs. Hazel Eyre's during the week-end. Fourteen of its members were present and a considerable amount of sewing was done. As usual, a luncheon was served serv-ed in the afternoon. W. Stewart and son went to the Milford project during the first part of the week to harvest their second crop of alfalfa. The farmers here are rejoicing over the -small showers of rain, but are detained from harvesting their second crop of alfalfa which is now ready. Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Jones visited their friends and relatives .here Sunday. Sun-day. Sunday afternoon, Mrs. John Gunn entertained twelve small girls and boys at her home, in honor of her little daughter's 8th birthday anniversary. anni-versary. Bronda, with her invited friends, seemed to enjoy themselves. |
