C. Ruschmeier was taken ill at Cedar City early this week. She was brought back to Milford and is now feeling better. Mr. and Mrs. Myron Lewis and son, David, left Thursday afternoon for a visit in Salt Lake and Provo. rs. Edith Farnow, Erma Gillies, Gertrude Lessing, Sam Cline, Harold j Cline, and Clarence Grimshaw spent the week-end at Puffer's Lake. Mr. and Mrs. George Fernley and family and Mr. and Mrs. Rue Nelson spent Sunday in Beaver canyon. Dr. and Mrs. C. R. Parrish spent several days in Salt Lake the last j week. Miss Leah Smithson is enjoying a vacation from her duties at the Milford Mil-ford State Bank. She is making an extensive trip which takes her to Los Angeles and up to the coast to San Francisco and Portland. She will visit Yellowstone Park and will return re-turn to Milford about the 28th of this month. J. H. Davis, Union Pacific agent: made a business trip to Cedar City last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd F. Casterline were gone on a trip of two or three days -duration this week to Los Angeles. An-geles. Rev. Homer E. Root and Roy Cot-trell Cot-trell left early Thursday on a fishing-trip fishing-trip to Mammoth Creek. They will be gone for several days. Lee Gray went to Salt Lake Wed- nesday evening to attend the celebration celebra-tion of Elk's Purple Day. C. A. Bailey returned late last week fromn a visit in Los Angeles and other coast cities. Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Burgess arrived back in Milford Sunday after driving through- from Pittsburgh, Kansas, where they had been making a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Melburn Heslington are back from Logan, where Mr. Heslington Hes-lington has been taking courses at the Summer school. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Reveal returned Saturday from Salt Lake City, where they had gone to attend a banquet given by the Old-Timers' Club. Mr. and Mrs. B. E. Hutchins and family went to Salt Lake City Tuesday Tues-day to be in attendance at the funeral of a relative who passed away early this week. C. B. Ryan and P. C. McLain, two aeroplane fliers of Salt Lake City, were here Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. H. P. Ryan and baby-boy baby-boy ' were here Tuesday from Pine Grove. They report a cloud burst in that vicinity during the recent storms. L. G. Clay made a business trip to Salt Lake City Thursday. Miss LaRue Davis is enjoying a vacation from her work as cashier at the J. C. Penney store. |
