Show BEAVER BRIEFS Mrs. Eva Carter left Friday for a month's visit in Seattle', with a sister. sis-ter. Mrs. Celia Closon left for her home in Elko, Nevada, after spending a month with her mother, Mrs. Ann Vincent. Miss Veda Morgan spent several days in Salt Lake City last week. SON ARRIVES Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Worley are rejoicing re-joicing over the arrival of a baby boy at their home Sunday, July 8. Mrs. Erwin Walker, of Cedar City, ' is here visiting at the home of her , mother, Mrs. Nancy Bert. Heber Robinson, of California, is the guest of his sister, Mrs. ' O. A. ! Murdock, and other brothers and sis-! sis-! ters. It is his first visit to his home j town in forty years. Miss Alice Harris and brother, Don, of Los Angeles, are the guests of their aunt, and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Harris. ! SOJOURN AT LAKE Mr. and Mrs. John Ashworth, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Thompson , Mr. and Mrs. Ed Houchen, of Cedar City, and Mr. and Mrs. Barber, of Bountiful, made up a party who are enjoying a week's vacation at Puffer's Lake. BABY GIRL BORN j A baby girl arrived at the home of I Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Patterson, July 12. Mr. and Mrs. Max McGee and Dorothy, Doro-thy, of Ogden, are the house g-uests of Mrs. Nancy Whornham for a few days. Miss Ann Woolsey left Saturday for a three weeks' visit in Los Angeles An-geles with her aunt, Mrs. Ernest Cowdell, and other relatives. |
