Show New Ore Opened In Horn Silver Reports from the Horn Silver mine of the Tintic Lead company at Frisco, Utah, state that the old producer is in better condition than it has been since the Tintic Lead company reopened and rehabilitated the property. Last week, ten carloads car-loads of ore were shipped to a Salt Lake smelter and during the succeeding suc-ceeding week the same amount should be marketed. Several important new showings have been opened, according to tin, official report, on the 0 00, the 1,000 the 700 and the 300. In the 902 southwest of the big 926 stope a breast of sphalerite has been exposed that will average 30 per cent combined lead-zinc content with appreciable silver values. South of 902 in a raise IB feet of sphalerite has been penetrated without with-out finding the limit of the ore, baya the report. In 923 the company has opened up, it is said a lot of good ore of good grade. On the 700 level in a new place, in the limestone footwall about the center of the level, the company is following a strong lead of ore running run-ning 15 ounces of sliver to tha Ion, 15 per cent lead and 15 per cent zinc. North on the 300, a drift Is following, fol-lowing, it is said, ore assaying 4 2 per cent lead and 12 ounces of silver to the ton. A shipment will be mad i next week from the 200 level of ore carrying 15 per cent lead and 3 5 ounces of silver to the ton.
