Show SOCIETY Mrs. Geo. Litchfield was hostess to the "500" hundred club at her home Monday night. Those present were Mrs. C. R. Crawford, Miss Ida Crawford, Craw-ford, Mss Arlie Stoddard, Mrs. Wayne Lyman, Mrs. H. W. Peterson, Mrs. L. D. McFadden and Mrs. L. A. Robinson. Club prize was won by Miss Ida Crawford, low by Mrs. Lyman. Ly-man. A very tasty luncheon was served. I Mrs. Rue Nelson entertained the Dinner Bridge club Saturday evening. The table was beautifully decorated with fall flowers, the idea carried out in favors and prizes. Mrs. J. R. Murdock, Mrs. M. P. Lewis, Mrs. George Fernley, Mrs. Erma Gillies, Mrs. Merrill Miller, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. Spencer Schow ami Mrs. M. Pool were guests.' Prizes were won by Mrs. Pool, guest, and Mrs. Miller consolation. The Victory Rebekah Lodge No. 43 Milford, held a special meeting in the I. O. O. F. hall Thursday evening. The occasion was in honor of the president of the Rebekah State Assembly, President Pre-sident Gertrude A. James accompanied accompan-ied by Grand Master James Ferrer of the Sovereign Grand Lodge and i Grand Warden, Mrs. Mead. A large number of members were present, and were delighted with the remarks of the visitors. President James and j Grand Master Ferrer both stressed the fine ideals of Rebekah and Odd Fellows and the importance of living up to those ideals. Following lodge an enjoyable evening of good fellowship, fellow-ship, card games, refreshments and dancing was spent. |
