Show G. I. A. On Friday, February 14th, the ladies la-dies of the G. I. A. met at the home of their president, Mrs. O. A. Steen-bock. Steen-bock. Two tables of bridge were played, with score prizes awarded to Mrs. L. B. Waddingham, points, and Mrs. A. E. Smith, honors. Valentine decorations were effectively used throughout the evening in the luncheon lunch-eon menu and card favors. Those present were the Mesdames W. K. Dawson, J. C. Jeffers, C. O. Sportsman, John Killam; L. B. Waddingham, Wad-dingham, and A. E. Smith. Mrs. C. L. Ford and Mrs. J. D. Johnston were invited guests. R A. Club. Mrs. J. H. Hanlon entertained the B. A. bridge club last Tuesday evening eve-ning with all members in attendance. Louree Moore won the score prize j for points and honors in the card play. Delicious refreshments were serv-J ed to the Mesdames Arlon Jensen, , Moore, Gleason, Lee, Outzen, Him-street Him-street and Hutchins. S. B. A. Anniversary. The Ninth anniversary of the S. B. A. Lodge No. 3611 was observed i last Thursday evening in the lodge rooms at the I. O. O. F. Hall. A sumptious hot dish dinner was served in the banquet room from seven to eight o'clock. After a short business session, cards were engaged in until a late hour. C. C. C. Club. Mrs. Charles Crawford, Jr., was hostess to the members of her 500 club Monday evening. A lovely two-course two-course luncheon was served to Mrs. Will Peterson, Mrs. Geo. Litchfield, Mrs. Chas. Crawford, Sr., Mrs. Sid Manning, Mrs. Harold Wirth, of Delta, and the Misses Ida Crawford and Arlie Stoddard. The club prize was won by Miss Ida Crawford; Mrs. Wirth was presented pres-ented with a guest's prize. Mrs. R. M. Copeland Hostess. Mrs. R. M. Copeland was the charming charm-ing hostess to the Dinner Bridge Club last Saturday afternoon at the U. P. Dining Room. Covers were laid for Mrs. Erma Gillies, Mrs. Wm. torley, Mrs. C. C. Sloan, Mrs. Merrill Mer-rill Miller, Mrs. C. E. Moore, members; mem-bers; and two invited guests, Mrs. Jack William? and Mrs. Wilson Moore. , j After a three-course dinner the ladies la-dies adjourned to the home of the hostess, where bridge was enjoyed at two tables. Score prizes were won by Mrs. Sloan for honors, Mrs. Miller for points, and Mrs. C. E. Moore, consolation. A lovely guest's prize was presented to Mrs. Wilson Moore. Mrs. W. A. Moore Entertains. The G. L. M. Bridge' Club met en Monday evening, Feb. 17, at the home of Mrs. W. A. Moore. At cards Mrs. Fred McKay won the high score for both points and honors. Before the members departed a tasty luncheon was served by the hostess to Mrs. Lloyd Lee, Mrs. Harry Har-ry Garfield, Mrs. Reno McDonald, Mrs. Tom Gadberry, Mrs. D. J. Mc Murphy, Mrs. Ray Malstrom and Mrs. Fred McKay. |
