A baby girl was born to Mrs. Elizabeth Eli-zabeth McVey at the Milford Hospital Hospi-tal Saturday. Mae Kohler has been confined to her home for the past week, with a bad case of the mumps. Mrs. Geo. Fernley left Tuesday for Salt Lake City for a week's visit with Mrs. C. R. Parrish. -a Allen English, manager of the ' Frisco Silver Lead was down the fore part of the week. Mrs. Vern Rochek and son return-ed return-ed from Salt Lake City where she Tias been visiting with her sisters. Mr. and Mrs. McMurphy have returned re-turned home after visiting in southern south-ern Utah and Nevada. Sty, Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Neidge and mother Mrs. Leonora B. Hartman have gone to Delta. J. M. Kinney has returned from Salt Lake City where he has been the past week, on an extended business busi-ness trip. Miss Afton Adams from Parowan is visiting at the home of her sister, Mrs. Homer Chilton. 1 L. R. Fournier, of the Telluride Company, was over from Richfield several days the first of the week looking after company affairs. Mrs. Maude Chaplin, of Cedar City ! was operated on Saturday at the Milford Hospital, for the removal of her tonsils. ! Mr. and Mrs. Z. C. Landes and baby, ba-by, Mrs. Baskin, and Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Mills enjoyed a trip to Zion Park Sunday. Pete Newell stopped off between trains to talk to old friends. Pete is on his way to Zion's Park, he spent the winter in Seattle, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hunt from Los Angeles, Calif., are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Ferguson. Fer-guson. I C. E. Leech left Wednesday morning morn-ing for Cedar City for a two weeks stay, where he holds the position as relief Express Agent. Master Ralph Stephenson, 4 '4 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Stephenson who has been very sick with whooping cough and pneumonia is much improved. Jack Hillary, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Hillary, will be in San Fran-Cisco, Fran-Cisco, Calif., Thursday, where he performs per-forms at the theatre in the dance . called "The Three Phantoms." Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Jones motored motor-ed to Hamlilin Valley where Mr. Jones is shearing sheep, Mrs. Jones returning by the way of Enoch and Parowan, stopped off, bringing her daughter and mother back with her. The dwelling near the high school building owned by the Colonial Building and Loan Company, is being be-ing remodeled and repainted. D. E. Kirk is looking after the work as ngent of the company. M. H. Pool, manager of the J. C. Penney , store of Milford, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Pool, drovo up to American Amer-ican Fork and Salt Lake City Sunday, Sun-day, on business and pleasure, returning re-turning Tuesday. C. J. Hamal, proprietor of the Victory Vic-tory Theatre, returned Sunday evening eve-ning from Salt Lake City, bringing with him his wife and infant child. The Hamals are stopping at the Atkin At-kin Hotel, but expect to go to housekeeping house-keeping as soon as they are able to secure a suitable apartment. |
