Show HAVE COMMERCIAL ORE AT 900 FEET CHIEF LOCAL MINES MEET EXPECTATIONS The past .thirty days of operations at both the Horn Silver and Moscow Mines have demonstrated that large bodies of ore are in existence below the nine-hundrd foot fevel. It has been, in years past, a sort of prevailing pre-vailing 'opinion that ore did not lie in any commercial quantities to a depth as deep as nine hundred feet in these mines. The last month has seen the Moscow Mos-cow treble its shifts, now working twenty-four hours of tho day. At the Horn Silver, good amounts of ore are being uncovered at 1100 feet. At both mines, operating expenses have been easily met by ore shipments, while prospecting was going on in the meantime. The result of determined effort at the Moscow is now being strikingly strik-ingly illustrated by the values of its stocks on the Salt Lake exchange. On Wednesday this week, $1.12 was asked and $1.05 was bid. Moscow stock could have been bought last winter for a few cents. |
