Show RELIEF SOCIETY BOARD ENTERTAINS Visiting teachers of the east ward Relief Society were guests of honor at a delightfully arranged program last week, given under the auspices of the board members as an expression expres-sion of appreciation of their tireless and splendid work. "Welcome to All," was the opening song; Mrs. Margaret Davis offered the opening prayer, followed by the singing of "If there's Sunshine in Your Heart." Assistant teacher-supervisor, Mrs. Martha Hoops, gave an excellent j talk to the teachers. Other numbers 1 included a trio, "When its Spring- j time in the Rockies," was sung by ' Mesdames Ida Gillies, Nell Hutch- j ings and Mayme Hoops; piano solo, Myrtle Woolsey Powell; reading, 'The Old Violin,' Miss Chloe Farrel, piano duet, Mrs. C. White and Leola Hopps; vocal solo, Mrs. Margery Mackerell. Community songs livened the assembly as-sembly while delicious refreshments were being served. Fifty-five people participated. |
