Show SOCIETY OLD FRIENDS CLUB Mrs. B. E. Hutchins was hostess to the Old Friends Club at her home Wednesday afternoon. An interesting interest-ing game of Five Hundred was played play-ed with score prizes being given to Mrs .Milton Pool, first; Mrs. W. Frazier, second; and Mrs. W. 0. Carlson, consolation. Those present were the Mesdames Carl Levi, Antone Johnson, A. C. Nebeker, W. 0. Carlson, W. Frazier, Milton Pool, J. M. Andrews, and an invited guest, Mrs. Neils Schow. A delicious luncheon was served. : : MRS. ASHWORTH ENTERTAINS Mrs. William Ashworth entertained entertain-ed the members of her "500" club on Saturday, P. M. A most pleasant pleas-ant time was enjoyed by all present. Mrs. Alf Horton received the prize for high score and Mrs. Earl Dewey, the consolation. Dainty refreshments were served to Mrs. Warren Atkin, Mrs. Earl Dewey, Mrs. Merrill Edwards, Ed-wards, Mrs. Walter Griffiths, Mrs. Mrs. Alfred Horton, Mrs. Leonard Muir, Mrs. Bill Talbot and Mrs. My-les My-les White. C. H. CLUB The C. H. Club met at the home of Mrs. Hattie Root Wednesday evening, even-ing, April 10. The time was spent in quilting. Eleven members enjoyed enjoy-ed thetempting refreshments which were served at the conclusion of the meeting. Mrs. Maud Robinson will entertain the club, April 24th. IS MOTIF FOR SHOWER . Irene Ryan and Claudia Coleman were sponsors for a shower last Thursday evening for Mrs. Clarence Grimshaw, nee Farnow. The affair was at the home of the recent bride, and she was given many useful and beautiful gifts. ENTERTAINS PAST NOBLE GRANDS The Victory Post, Past Noble Grands club, was entertained at the home of Mrs. Selma Carlson, Tuesday, Tues-day, April 9. A very pleasant evening even-ing was spent sewing, and delicious refreshments were served to the following fol-lowing members: Mrs. Ecrtha Sherwood, Sher-wood, Mrs. Estelln Jennings, Mrs. Mabel Colore---, Mrs. Bertha Cottrell, Cot-trell, Mis. Vota Wilson and Mrs. Martha Armstrong. Mrs. Bertha Cottrell assisted Mrs. Carlson in serving. |
