Show DEATH COMES TO MRS. ANNA GLENN PARALYTIC STROKE BRINGS PIONEER'S j LIFE TO A CLOSE i , Mrs. Anna Glenn, mother of James Glenn, of Milford, passed away at Bell, California, on April 15, following follow-ing a paralytic stroke sustained a few days before. Funeral services were held at the Glenn home in Milford Wednesday afternoon, with interment in the Milford cemetery. Rev. Homer E. Root conducted the last rites. She was born in County Downe, Ireland, on September 12, 18-17, making mak-ing her 82 years, 7 months of age at the time of her death. She came in 1901, and has been a familiar character in Beaver county since that time. She was a sister of John and James Forgie and Mrs. Ellen Mc-Crady, Mc-Crady, all pioneers here. She leaves a son, two grandsons, and a nephew, all well known here and who were all able to attend the funeral services. |
