Show NEW OFFICE ADJUSTS DEPOT DEPARTMENTS TELEGRAPH OFFICE "f" MOVED DOWNSTAIRS Grouping departments closer to-! icether will be the result of the build- j ing now going on within the Union Pacific station. A new office is be-, ',ng const ructed in the east side of j the waiting room. This will house the ticket office. The room vacated !y Agent J. H. Davis will be occupi-' d by the Dispatcher's force as a telegraph office. A door will connect l he two offices. The move makes for much mm convenience. Trainmen can step In !y a door at the north, and receive their orders over the window from ' he dispatcher's office without the necessity of making trips up to the second floor. Laison between the ', icket agent and telegraph office will f f course be more simple. The move entails little work on the part of Mr.' Davis, and his office equipment is only taken out through the door to (he new office, but the telegraph office of-fice will have more of a job in get-,ing get-,ing moved downstairs. A new ticket window will be built The wall facing the waiting room v.-ill consist of two large sections of 'rosted glass. When the lathing, ; lastering and painting is all com-: com-: leted, the new office will match the old one in appearance. The ticket indow on the west will be left for I'icility in handling telegrams. |
