Show MUSIC DEPARTMENT TO ENTER CONTEST OF STATE SCHOOLS In preparation for High School Day to be held at the U. A. C. in Cedar April 8, 9, and 10, the Milfrd High School music department that is to enter all the music contests at Cedar is presenting a program at the high school. On the local program will be all the numbers that will be presented at Cedar. Ce-dar. Songs will be sung by Marion Bowman, Rosabelle Jones and Elen Bird, the music department's representatives repre-sentatives in the voice contest at Cedar. Ce-dar. A girls chorus of eighteen will sing "Berseuse" by Goddard, Jess Done and Loraine Bowman will present pre-sent violin selections, and the high school band of eighteen will play "Mt. Everest Overture and the "Pilot March" by Fred Griffen. The orchestra orches-tra of twenty-eight will present "Gladiator's Triumph" and "Enchanted "Enchant-ed Dreams" by Epperson while Rutli Pool and Renee Fernley will play piano selections. The art work of Sarah Pool, Ellen Ford and Mary Tomsik, the cntestants to be entered by the Milford High School are department, will be on display dis-play in the auditorium the same evening even-ing the preliminary program is to be given. The program is free to the public. |
