Show PRIZES OFFERED TO WINNERS OF CONTEST The back yard play ground contest sponsored by the American Legion Auxiliary working with the Better Homes in America opened Tuesday when the survey of the yards and gardens of Milford was undertaken. Following the survey, committees will visit the hcjmes and attempt to interest the owners to enter into the contest. Both the landscaping of the yard and the playground equipment such as sand boxes, slides, swings, horizontal bars, flying rings and playhouses will be points that will be judged in the awarding of prizes at the close of the contest, May 27. The merchants are being asked to contributed prizes. Mayor Hubbell hara contributed a $12.50 kodak. At the close of the contest, a celebration cele-bration will be held for the children of the town. Committee leaders in the movement are: Mrs. Abbie Dutsen, Mrs. Carry Joest, Mrs. Arthur Clark, Mrs. William Wil-liam Mitchel and-city chairman of the Better Homes in America, Mrs. Annie J. Atkin and County Chairman, Mrs. Rue Neilsen. (i |
