Show SOCIAL HOUR CLUB HOLDS SHOWER AT THURSDAY MEETING Beautiful in all of its appointments was the party given last Thursday afternoon for the Social Hour club by Madam Alameda Bybee and Mrs. Addison Ad-dison Bybee at Waseepah Ranch, the home of the Bybees. Greetings were extended to many I former members who were present. The club president reported the receipts re-ceipts for sale of candy at the Red Cross charity dance as $13.70. This sum having been turned into the Red Cross treasury. At the refreshment hour, the guests were seated at one long table beautifully beauti-fully decorated with candelabra, patriotic pat-riotic colors and emblems appropriate to Washington's birthday. A surprise handkerchief shower followed for Mrs. W. W. Cook, honor guest for the afternoon. aft-ernoon. Mrs. Cook, is a charter member mem-ber of the club and is leaving South Milford in the near future, much to the regret of her many friends. The next regular meeting of the club will be at the club house on Thursday afternoon, March 5, with Mesdames James Rollins and Walter Cook as hostesses. |
