Jorgensen, L. D. Brooks, E. H. Street, Shirley At-kin, At-kin, I. L. Quirk and D. T. Martin met with high school officials in a combined com-bined effort to secure a ball grounds. As a result ground on the north of the high school has been selected and a good diamond and a grandstand to seat 500 will be built. May be some day a high board fence will enclose the grounds,. Dotson, county agent for the Maxwell car, started this morning with a stock car on a non-stop run over the county roads to demonstrate the car. There has been over $15,000 worth of automobiles sold in Milford the past three weeks. Paloma's first shipment of ore from Beaver county reached Salt Lake this week. The ore carried from $75 to $100 per ton in values. Will Cline fell from a counter in the store this morning and the local physician had to paste planters over his slate to hold him together, as Will expressed it. Carl Tolton and Karl Levi, of Beaver, were in Milford Saturday. The; ,'Milford Volunteer Fire iDe-partment iDe-partment will conduct the Gravel Day activities in Milford this year. Collis P. Huntington was arrested yesterday by Sheriff Fotheringham in Beaver, charged with stealing a horse from Stanley Green of Beaver. |
