Show TINTIC LEAD CO. SHIPS STEADILY; HORN SILVER MAKING GOOD PROGRESS Production of the Tintic Load company at Frisco, Utah is holding around ten carloads of ore weekly. At the same time, the company is centering most of its activity on development de-velopment work in its Horn Silver mine, to prove the downward and lateral extension of the deposit so productive years ago. During the last fortnight, three important showings have been opened open-ed up, according to a report of officials offic-ials of the company, on different levels lev-els of the mine, both northwest and southwest of the shaft. On the 300 foot level, northeast of the old stope a large body of oxidized oxidiz-ed ore carrying good values in gold and other metals is being developed for production. This ore was found as a result of opening up the old stopes and drifting into the limestone lime-stone on low-grade ore left by the old timers. In the vicinity of the "Blue Room" stope above the 900 the company com-pany it is reported, has developed a( good showing of lead-silver-zinc ore; that seems parallel to the Blicken-staff Blicken-staff shoot productive from the 1.000 up to the 700. On the 900 southwest of and below be-low stope 926 about 40 feet, the company has opened a substantial j showing of silver-lead zinc ore sim- ilar to that 926, the most productive, stope in the mine. This deposit, according ac-cording to recent information from the mine, is evidently flattening out and making into the beds. Mineral ISurvey. I |
