Show BURGLARS ENTER ALLEN'S CASH STORE Some time between Saturday night and Sunday morning the Allen Cash store was entered and robbed. Entrance En-trance was gained by prying the iron bars on a rear window and breaking out two panes of glass. About fourteen four-teen dollars was taken from the cash register and a quantity of cigarets from the stock. A mysterious feature of the robbery was the fact that not all of the cash was taken from the cash register. The evidence left wrould seem to indicate that the burglar was well acquainted with the location of merchandise in the store. They had taken considerable consider-able pains to cover up their tracks such as hiding the broken window glass and putting a piece of cardboard over the hole they made in the window. win-dow. They also replaced a brace, so that it would fall against the door after it was closed from the outside. |
