Show EXHIBITS A FINE SPEC1MEN OF ORE FROM MOSCOW MINE OTHER LOCAL MINES EXPECTING TO SHIP REGULARLY SOON A specimen of mineral ore from the Moscow mine which contained 100 per cent mineral was being shown in . town Tuesday. The piece was in the hands of James Gibson; who is hauling from the mine, and who picked up the ore from the bottom bot-tom of the MOO-foot level. The piece contained 42 per cent lead, 16 per cent iron, and assayed 68 ounces of silver to the ton. The property at the 1400 foot depth is leased by two Finns. More of like nature is available at the bottom of this shtift, it was said. Gibson says that there is another claim straight above this one that also is looking very good now. Several Sev-eral Tintic men have leases on parts of the property owned by the Moscow Mos-cow concern- From one to four cars of ore are moved monthly from the Moscow. It is understood that the ore is not being be-ing shipped from the Magnolia at present, but Gibson says this is not because they do not have it in quantity. quan-tity. Prospecting has revealed some very high grade ore here on a stope at 400 feet. It is expected that it will not be long before ore will begin to move from the new Plumbic mines. Their properties are said to contain in excellent ex-cellent grade of lead-silver ore. However, the concern has been in existence too short a time for any movement to be expected. |
