Show Oscar Limb Dies at Pioche of Flu BEAVER, Jan. l!", 1!-JH With the denth of Oscar Limb at Pioche last week another Beaver home is miule desolate, a wife bereft of her companion com-panion ami five young children made fatherless. The remains of Mr. Limb wore brought to his hone here Sunday and funeral services were conducted Monday Mon-day at two o'clock in the chapel. A large and sympathetic gathering gather-ing of friends were in attendance at the impressive services. A profusion of beautiful flowers covered the casket. Bishop Wesley Farrer was in charge and music was by a male quartet, Kent Morgan, Chase Mur-ilock, Mur-ilock, Ernest Shipp and Milo Baker. The opening song was "My Father Knows," Miss Ila Tanner accompanying. accompany-ing. Walter S. Tolton offered the opening prayer. The quartet sang, "Jesus Lover of my Soul." Elder George Smith, who had been a life-long acquaintance of the deceased, de-ceased, spoke. He said "We have more of a feeling of love for one another an-other when called together thus. 1 think God seems more beautiful at the time of death. To me, death ha.-no ha.-no sting." "One Fleeting Hour,' was sung by LaMar Morgan. Bishop C Dennis White said he had never seen a more sympathetic audience audi-ence than the one before him. In behalf of the community, he expressed ex-pressed great sympathy for the widow and her five little children. Bishop George Paice felt the sdlem-r.ess sdlem-r.ess of the occasion, which was perhaps per-haps as sad as any that could occur in our community. He hoped ho might say something that would comfort com-fort the wife and children. Ke knew Mr. Limb to have been a devoted i- - husband, always doing all he could for his family, although not in the best of health. Bishop Farrer thanked all who had done anything to assist the family in their hour of grief and hoped the people would - remember them. The quartet sang, "I Need Thee Fvery Hour." Counselor C. Edwin Paice pronounced the benediction. A long procession followed the remains to Mountainview cemetery, where interment in-terment took place. j |
