Show VISITS OLD HOME Mrs. Isabclle It. Owen is in receipt of a letter from her brother, W. W. Ruby, written at New Orleans, La., in which he states that during his trip to Washington, D. C, he expects to visit the old homestead in Alabama where their father, Alfred Ruby, was born in 183-1. W. W. Ruby visited relatives in thnt section thirty years ago while filling a mission for the L. D. S. church. He met a most friendly welcome wel-come until he revealed his affiliation affilia-tion with the "Mormon" religion, when he was promptly requested not to make mention of his religious convictions. con-victions. The grandfather of Mr. Ruby and Mrs. Owen, and two of their father's brothers, were killed during the Civil war. |
