Show f SOUTH MILFORD As good citizens the people of South Milford have been very proud of their short road to Milford built and maintained largely through their own efforts, and their pride receives a great blow when vandals dump rubbish rub-bish and tin cans along their highway. They trust said vandals may hear of this little item-Mrs. item-Mrs. C. A. Rohn spent last Tuesday in Salt Lake. Mrs. Reuben Jones has been visiting-friends visiting-friends at Reed for a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kinzel of Long-Beach, Long-Beach, Calif, spent last week at the W. C. Cates ranch. They are motoring motor-ing to Omaha, Nebraska and spent three days in the beautiful southern Utah parks. Mr. Kinzel is a banker of long experience and was most favorably fav-orably impressed with the South Milford Mil-ford pumping district and general agricultural outlook, as compared with other sections. Fire caused by a spark from the kitchen kit-chen chimney threatened the barns and stockyards of the Dr. Bybee rancli on Tuesday noon during the high wind. Thanks to the quick action of Valney DeLew, who discovered the fire and signaled for help, no damage was done except a bad fright to everyone every-one on the ranch. People interested in turkeys' should drive out to the Chas. Husband ranch or the Peter Shaft home. Each place boasts its hundreds of poults. The owners will sell through the association associa-tion this fall and have promise of fair profit. County Agent Lew Mar Price was a welcome visitor on the flat last Friday. |
