Show f MINERSVILLE Mrs. M. E. Blackburn and son, Leslie, Les-lie, left Monday for Salt Lake City where they wgre called on account of the serious illness of Gordon Blackburn. Black-burn. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Hall of St. George are spending the week here. Mass Zelma Johnson of Milford visited vis-ited her grandmother, Mrs. Melissa Stoddard here Sunday. William Brashaw employed at Big Springs, Nevada is visiting a few days here with his family. H. A. Walker and daughter, Mrs. Clinton Thompson, spent the past week at Salt Lake. Miss Merle White of, Milford, Miss Lola Roberts, Miss Sylva Rollins, Truman Tru-man Bradfield, . Eugene Myers and Marcene Davis, spent Sunday in Beaver Beav-er Canyon. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Watts are the proud parents of a son born June 13. Mrs. Watt was formerly Miss Vie Carter. Miss Davidson of the Extension de-parinent de-parinent of the U. S. A. C. and county agent, Lew Mar Price of Beaver, held a meeting here Saturday night in the interest of the 4-H club work. A band concert under the direction of LaVar Isaacson was held in the park Sunday afternoon, after which a baseball base-ball game between the -married and single men was played. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Thompson of Eureka are here with Mrs. Thompson's Thomp-son's father, George LeFevre. Mrs. Sarah B. Gillins is visiting in Salt Lake City. |
