Show WE ARE CLEAN AND PROUD OF IT "Milford is the most sanitary town in the state of Utah." The citizens of Milford have always known that the town was clean but to have the official approval of the state sanitary engineer engin-eer take the form of such unstinted praise is more than their modesty demanded. And it is good to know that the praise has been corned through (he judgement and hard work of the town officials and through the voluntary co-operation of the citizens. The town lxiard deserves congivitulations for the wells they have provided for the town, wells that give an adequate supply of clean, soft water. Theodore Kronholm deserves an ample share in the credit. He spends weeks each year cleaning up the wells, and keeping keep-ing them clean is his daily care. The towji has provided for garbage garb-age disposal and has seen to it that no disease breading filth has been, allowed to remain within the city limits. In this the citizens have willingly co-operated. Finally the swimming pool received complete approval of the inspector. The Lions built it right. Their attendant is running it right. It is clean and safe. Milford people and officials are good civic house keepers. They are not ,afraid at any time to receive unexpected company even w hen that company proves to be an inspector looking with a critical criti-cal eye under the civic rug. |
