C. tin Logan, July 15 to 18 this year. We are advised that an unusually attractive program pro-gram has been prepared for visitors this year. It is realized that Logan is a full day's drive from Beaver County, but by benefits received through attendance there will justify justi-fy the effort. If we begin now to plan for the trip, Beaver County can have a good representation there this year. Work, play and learn under organized, or-ganized, symtematlc direction with 3000 other Utah farm folks from every part of our state. Make your vacation educational. Althoufh griiihopperl are oftea not noticed by the farmer until they have reached' a considerable size, they begin to injure" his crops immediately im-mediately upon hatching from the : egg. The state is furnishing .poison free for the control of grasshoppers this season. The property owner must furnish . the. other materials. Some of the poison has been order-.' ed, and will -probably be here for use late this week. " Those needing help should make;, it known to Mr..' I Horace Palmer of Milford, or the county agent. : 1 |
