Show Poet's Claim to Congratulation. A Paris youth named Armand Gaily killed his sweetheart and nttempted to commit suicide. At his trial conn-sel conn-sel for tho defense described the youth as a poet, and read a pathetic verso which ho said ho had written. Tho jury was touched and acquitted tho prisoner. Now Viscount de Hor-roll Hor-roll I has written tho papers: "Hero Is an exceedingly humorous business. Ono Armand Gaily kills n woman and tries to kill himself, but of course falls, as they always do. At tho trial, counsel roads, ob being tho work of his client, a .ocm by myself, pub-llshod pub-llshod some threo years ago in tho Gaulols. And, ot course, tho Jury acquits ac-quits him. It appears to mo that I deserve to be congratulated In this matter." |
