Show Democratic Primaies Persuant to a call by the Democratic Dem-ocratic State Central Committee, for a Democratic State convention conven-tion to be held in Ogden, Utah, on August 18th, 1916, and for a Democratic Congressional Convention, Con-vention, for the first Congressional Congress-ional district, to be held at the same place on August 19th, the Democratic Central Committee, in and for Millard county, met at Fillmore, August 3rd, 1916, and made an apportionment for the election of delegates to these conventions. The apportionment was made as follows: Precinct State Cong's'nal Con v. Con v. Delta 1 1 Fillmore ' 2 2 Hinckley 1 1 Deseret 1 1 Oasis and Clear Lake 1 1 Abraham Sutherland and Woodrow 1 1 Oak City .1 1 Leamington and Lynndyl 1 1 Scipio 1 1 Holden 1 1 Meadow, Black Rock, Malone 1 1 'Kanosh and Hatton 1 1 Snake Valley 1 ' 1 The precinct primaries are to be held Saturday, August 12th, 1916, at 8:30, p. m., in the various var-ious precincts, and the County Central Committee, sensing the importance of having our full representation at the contentions hopes that each precinct, or precincts, pre-cincts, will send a delegate with proper credentials and, where only one goes, he should have, power to act as delegate in both conventions. The Democratic Central Com mittee takes this opportunity to extend an invitation to the members mem-bers of the Progressive Party to attend their primaries and to join them in the coming election.
