Denatured sugar Is sugar to which various Ingredients have been added for the purpose of rendering It unfit for human consumption. It Is claimed that, contrary to general belief. It does not have an Injurious effect on th digestive organs; on the contrary, that its solubility renders It more digestible, di-gestible, and that It has a high food value. The amount fed at first Is one ounce per quart of skim milk, and It Is claimed that It can be fed to rnlves ten days after birth without danger.
