Tho usual pructlce of dairymen to keep their milk cool Is to put the milk cans under running water In a box. 11Z3Z1SD Cover for Milk Box. Tiie cans are usually kept beneath the water by slipping strips of board of proper length, over the tops of the cans and under ledges at the side of the box. In using tills method one runs the risk of upsetting the cans when putting the strips In position. An Improvement over this method Is shown In tho accompanying sketch which Is self-explanatory. The apparatus appara-tus Is made of strips of board, one Inch thick. Tho lower sketch shows how tho device Is put In to tho milk box. II Is a hinge and A Is a button to lock the tongue (J In place when the device Is straightened out. |
