Show having had a very good time. McKee's up-to-date confectionary confection-ary opened July 23rd, and is doing a thriving business. Mr. Smart has installed a permanent per-manent moving picture apparatus appara-tus and will give us a rhow each week. Mrs. Lillian Crosland is in Nephi visiting her daughter, Mrs. Jones. Mr. and Mrs. Clark Wood, of Levan, are here visiting Mr. Wood's parents. A number of our people attended at-tended Priesthood meeting at Fillmore. Photographer, Matson is in town and is kept busy. Earl Broadhead and Reed Stevens of Sevier county, visited it the home of Mrs. Sarah Johnson John-son the past week. Hoilden Happenings The recent rains have improved improv-ed the looks of all vegetation and very much good will be derived therefrom. Miss Cecil Farley, of Ogden is here, the guest of Miss Neva Nixon. Pioneer Day was fittingly celebrated, cel-ebrated, tho the rain spoiled the afternoon for sports they were carried out next day with . a grand ball in the evening of both days. Mrs. Mattie Knight, of Hinckley, Hinck-ley, is visiting home folks this week. Wilford Johnson and Orzel Hunter returned Wednesday from Cedar City. They report |
