Show Sutherland Searchlights A large crowd enjoyed their swim Sunday irt the flume and river. Marvin Greathouse spent Sunday Sun-day in Sugarville. There has been several on the sick list the past week Mrs. F. N. Davis, Mrs- C. M. Hickman, and Bryan Smith. Tiny Barker has sold his machine mach-ine to Mr. Hy Sherer. It sute keeps a fellow guessing whether he'll , be roast pork in the day or an icicle at night. There was a heavy rain here last Friday and, thanks be, it settled the dust. Frank Foote spent Saturday and Sunday in Whiskey Creek with Mr. Day of Delta. Roy Walker and sister, Clara, are visiting their brDther W. R. Walker, our merchant with' the; always smiling face. Lawrence Abbott gave a talk ' on prohibition Sunday evening at the church. There was a family reunion of the Bunker's in Delta Tuesday. As the Bunker's are one of the oldest families here there is a large number of them. Mr. and Mrs. VV. R. Walker, and the Misses Helen and Hazel Bunker attended. The Jolly Stitchers met with Mrs. Irvine Greathouse and report re-port a lovely visit. There is a rumor that they are going to have their husbands with them at R. W. Britt's home sometime in August.
