Show Oak City Offerings j (Crowded out last week) j Mr. C. W. Rawlison is busy I erecting a new house in the east j end of town. Miss Maggie Jacobson, who has spent the past summer in Idaho, has again returned home. A good grain crop is reported by our farmers out on the new project between Oak City and Lynndyl. W. I. Alldredge has returned from Salt Lake where he has been to have his eye operated on. He is now able to see where he is going again. Tuesday night a big crowd attended at-tended a dance at Leamington, the music being furnished by the Oak City string band, all had a dandy good time. Miss Jane Rawlinson who has been in Salt Lake City the past summer has returned home. We are always glad to see our young folks back with us. Thursdny night a party was given by the Bee Hive Girls, at the home of Miss Arbie Talbert. Lunch was served by the girls. All present had a good time. One of the most interesting-base interesting-base ball games of the season was played here between Oak City and Abraham, the score being 4 to 6 in favor of the visiting visi-ting team. Our new post master, Leroy Walker, is right on his job getting get-ting things straightened up. He expects to soon move the Post Office down on his place between Main St. and 1st East and 2na , North. |
