Hurst of San Juan has recently invented a sagebrush grubber and rake. The grubber is designed to cut a swath six feet wide, and to do the work of a dozen men. While riding a horse without a saddle sad-dle in a corral about eighteen miles east of iMonticello, Lee Wlnburn, a San Juan eowiboy, was thrown to the ground, being seriously injured. Plans are being formulated by the Bait Lake corps of the Salvation army for the annual ibasket dinner on Thanksgiving day. Efforts will be made to provide dinners for at least 200 needy families.
