Show Scipio Sallies Mrs. Emily Thompson is visiting visit-ing in Lalt Lake City. Miss Josie Peterson has been visiting friends in Nephi. Mr. Ute Perkins and family have moved into their new home-Mr. home-Mr. and Mrs. Perking of Salt Lake City, .are visiting their children here. . Francis Esklund is having a nice bungalow built on his dry farm, seven miles south of town. Mrs. Ella McArthur, who has been spending the summer with her mother, has returned to Washington D. C. J. Wells -Robins, of Salina, came home Saturday night nd spent the rest of the week visiting visit-ing his family. A benefit dance and supper was given last Friday night, the proceeds to go toward repairing the meeting house. Quite a number of our men and boys have spent their time deer hunting lately, but so far only two have been successful. A number of cattle men have been riding on the mountain the last week in the interest of their cattle. There were 17 from Aurora, 4 from Scipio and 8 from Holden. Lewis F. Wasden, met wfth misfortune last week when the ground under his honse settled, causihg considerable damage. The .repair of which will cost several hundred dollars. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wasden, spent a few days in Holden last week. Water melons ripe and fair Water melons fifty cents a pair. "Let us have one," says sunny . Mone.
