Academy Notes More than 130 students are enrolled en-rolled now in the Millard Academy Acad-emy and new ones are entering enter-ing every school day. Young men and women not in school, why not join the crowd? On every hand among the students can be heard expressions express-ions of satisfaction concerning" the school; the quality of the work done, and the spirit of the institution both are praised. The girls class in physical culture cul-ture is attracthig much attention. atten-tion. The large number of girls under the able direction of Miss Cook already make a fine showing, show-ing, and soon we shall see some pleasing drills, folk dances etc. The competitive games have already al-ready aroused much spirit among the atheletes of the gentler sex, As with all the Church Academies, Acad-emies, this year, the devotional period has been lengthened thus giving greater time for talks on character building, for concert singing, etc. The classes under Prof. McClellan Mc-Clellan are having it brot home to them that education is for life, that they are studying life problems rather than text books. The classes seem to be greatly enjoyed. Prof, Huffaker is making good use of the pleasant fall weather to take his classes in Agriculture for Held trips where the boys study the farmer's problems first hand. The interclass base ball series is in full swing. It is not yet certain where the class pennant will go, but both the Sophomores Sopho-mores and the Juniors are doing a lot of bragging and incidentally incident-ally some good playing.
