Show We -understand that another big railroad day is being planned for, jft'hett "both Delta and Sug-arville Sug-arville will participate in the celebration of the completion of the new Sugarville branch. Have you been reading the advertising columns of the Chronicle lately? Dont you think they are improving? It begins to make the paper take on more of the air of a live country coun-try journal in a live community where the trade of the surrounding surround-ing country is being sought for, doesn't it. In fact it looks like things are prosperous and progressing, don't it? Say, old tioier, have you ever paused of an evening and watchedand watch-edand we were going to say admire the beautiful sun-sets of this valley, but it's a cinch that if you have taken the time to stop and watch them you have admired them. We have seen the sun-sets of more tham half of the states west of the Mississippi Missis-sippi but we can't recall where in any of then we have ever seen anything like the glorious sunset sun-set we have here. We never let an evening slide by but what, if it is convenient, we make an efiort to get a glimps of the beautiful sun-set. They seem of longer duration; farther reaching reach-ing and of more delicate, deeper and more gorgeous hues than any we have ever witnessed. In their study there is a beauty and . fascination well worth cultivating. |
