Experiment Indicate that pelts, more properly termed Emmer, Is worth about 13 per cent leaa than corn for milk making purposes. A mixture consisting of 400 pounds corn chop, 200 pounds bran. 40 pounds sprits, will supplement the roughege suggested very nicely. One nound for each 3H pounds ef milk hould give tbe cows ample nourishment nourish-ment for doing ressonably good work If spelts is omitted from tbe mixture, a combination . ef too pounda of corn chop and 304! rounds bran win make a very good combination. |
