Jenson Bros, were In our town last week representing the Beneficial Life Insurance Company of Salt Lake City; wrote up policies for some sixteen persons. Last Friday evening the Ward gave a very nice reception In honor of Elder El-der Neil M. Stewart, who arrived home last Tuesday from a two years mission mis-sion In the Southern States. Also Charles D. Smith, Z. C. M. I. salesman, who was a resident of this place until four years ago, when be moved to Salt Lake. Many valuable truths were spoken by the Brethren and attentively atten-tively listened to by a full house, both young and old. A very Interesting feature of the Conjoint Session of the Y. L. and Y. M. M. I. A. last evening was a 8a-moan 8a-moan song by Iiro. Sears and Jesse J. Bennett. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bond left here for their home at Smyths after several days visit with relatives and friends. They report having had a very enjoyable time. Mrs. Martha Adams Is suffering from a slight paralytic stroke; first affecting ber face, but is now felt In the left side of her body. We all hope for her speedy recovery. |
