It is somewhat humiliating for the editor to see the goMl work done on the streets in Deseret and Hinckley this spring and then gee our own street, and they have no more revenue than we. People generally look to the town board to Umpire the people with enough public pride and spirit to make Home Improvement If they can't sup ply the money. There are a large number of single men and families famil-ies who have to send their laundry to Salt Lake, wlilch Is expensive and Inconvenient, In-convenient, such an establishment would draw a large trade from our neighboring towns also. If some of the struggling eleunlng houses In Salt Lake would move down here they , could build up a bigger business than they will ever get there. W AND AROUND DELTA Hi Week's News froa the Ccssj Metnpols The quarterly conference of the Primary Association was held at llolden llol-den last Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Law, president of the local association, Mrs. John Avery illshop, Mrs. F.dgar Jeffries and Kllza Hook were in attendance at-tendance from Delta. They report a very Interesting session. Saturday evening was given over to a social entertainment en-tertainment consisting of music, readings, read-ings, stories, etc. Mrs. Ileliulou of the general board, was down from Salt Lake and aided greatly in making the meeting Interesting and instructive. Over 400 were In attendance at the Sunday session and 1 of the officers of the county were present. Commissioners Hushnell and Robinson Robin-son were over this week to see about needed roads and bridges on the new road being bulk north from Hinckley. Twu more bridges are to be put In on the main mad west from the bridge to Hinckley. These are to be built by the Abraham Irrigation Co. and cither private parties. These Improvements Improve-ments will give ready access to Abraham Ab-raham and Hinckley lioin the west side. President Moody and Manager George Snow came down from Salt Lake lajtt Saturday to Investigate the 1 water question. The three or four hot days of last week made a big de- 1 mand for water by the farmers of the i west side.
